Are you under 35 years old and interested in military security in Europe? Do you want to win up to EUR 3,000 and present your work to diplomats in Vienna?

The Organization for Security Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy in Hamburg (IFSH) published a Call for Papers together with partner institutes VCDNP, GCSP and MGIMO.

The topics of this essay competition include: conventional arms control, confidence- & security-building measures (CSBMs), military transparency & verification, the role of new technologies and new types of conventional weapons on security and stability in Europe. This is a Call for Papers that wants to encourage students, young scholars & professionals, women and persons from diverse geographic and academic background to engage in matters of arms control.
